February 2, 2009 - PureSpectrum, Inc. expands sales staff to support global product marketing efforts
February 2nd, 2009SAVANNAH, GA – PureSpectrum, Inc. (PSPM) has augmented its internal sales force by adding Program Sales Managers to support response to the launch of a multilayered, targeted global marketing campaign that includes the utility industry, major retail outlets, the electrical industry, the building industry and government agencies.
PureSpectrum has added Jeff Smith and Nicholas Peragine as Program Sales Managers to focus on selling within specific industries and areas and will continue to strengthen its staff by adding personnel to accommodate sales, logistics and customer service for the rapidly growing company’s global marketing efforts. Smith is concentrating on the utility industry, major retailers and direct sales to consumers, and Peragine will focus on electrical companies, environmental service companies and electrical distributors.
PureSpectrum finalized a manufacturing contract in December that enables the company to produce and distribute a full branded product line of its proprietary dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL). The company has received overwhelmingly positive feedback within the lighting and utilities industries regarding its products and technologies, and PureSpectrum president and CEO Lee Vanatta said the additional staffing allows the company to build relationships and accelerate the sales cycle as manufacturing and distribution become fully realized and integrated in the company’s business model.
“We have recognized a distinct need for a strong sales force to accommodate the high volume of interest we are receiving from many different areas,” Vanatta said. “We needed to begin establishing a complete sales force under the guidance of Vice President of Sales Garth Kullman to maximize the company’s ability to capitalize on the opportunities that are available to us. As sales and revenues increase, we will fortify the sales, customer service and logistics staff to ensure that we provide the highest possible level of response to our customers.”
Beginning with the Utility Products Expo in San Diego this week, PureSpectrum’s sales force will be exhibiting the company’s products at a multitude of electrical, lighting and utilities trade shows throughout the United States and around the world. The company’s appearances at major showcases includes the Middle East Electricity trade show in Dubai later this month, LightFair International in New York in May and a planned appearance at the China International Lighting Expo in Hong Kong in the fall.
Through independent testing conducted in 2008, PureSpectrum’s dimmable CFL has been proven to offer superior performance compared to commercially available dimmable CFLs. Through engineering ingenuity, PureSpectrum reduced the parts count for its bulbs and is able to sell fully dimmable CFLs for a cost comparable to standard CFLs. The performance gains and cost savings provided by PureSpectrum’s bulbs has generated tremendous interest in the company’s CFL product line within multiple industries.
“The demand for our products has intensified based on many factors, and we will build a sales and customer support team to accommodate that demand,” Kullman said. “We want to be certain that we have a sales force in place that can communicate quickly and effectively as within multiple industries as people continue to recognize the benefits of our technologies and products through our marketing efforts. We are in a unique position within the lighting industry because we have developed viable, cost effective products that will meet consumer standards right now and we believe we can establish brand loyalty in the future by acting quickly to secure market share.”
All PureSpectrum CFLs and products will be fully compliant with established performance standards set forth by Energy Star, Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
