November 4, 2008 - PureSpectrum, Inc. to showcase products and technologies at Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Symposium 2008
November 4th, 2008SAVANNAH, GA – PureSpectrum, Inc. (Pink Sheets: PSPM) is exhibiting at this week’s Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Symposium 2008 in Atlanta, and PureSpectrum president and CEO Lee Vanatta has accepted an invitation to join other corporate leaders from Georgia and the southeast on an expert’s panel that will assess the progress of the green technology movement.
Alongside other leading edge green products and technologies, PureSpectrum will showcase its newly launched line of affordable, fully dimmable, high Power Factor Compact Fluorescent Lamps (CFL) and demonstrate its proprietary dimmer and a dimmable Light Emitting Diode (LED) system. Vanatta will appear with other green business leaders on Thursday to comment on key issues in the green technology movement and highlight the efforts of Georgia and southeastern companies to promote energy conservation through the identification and adaptation of new technologies.
During the past year, PureSpectrum has received positive response within the lighting industry through the introduction of multiple circuitry and electrical engineering breakthroughs that make energy efficient lighting more consumer-friendly. In addition to the company’s efforts to license its technologies to lighting manufacturers, PureSpectrum has designed a full line of proprietary dimmable, high Power Factor CFLs ranging from 9 watts to 42 watts for distribution in North American Free Trade Association (NAFTA) countries in 2009.
“We believe the Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Symposium is an ideal stage for our products to make their debut,” Vanatta said. “We will be surrounded by some of the leading minds in the green movement, and our technologies and products have been designed to further our corporate mission of encouraging the use of energy efficient lighting products. As we have stated from the beginning, this company is committed to creating green technology and facilitating the widespread use of energy efficient lighting. We are excited to be able to introduce our contribution to this movement at the Energy Efficiency & Sustainability Symposium.”
Independent testing has proven that PureSpectrum’s breakthrough circuitry topology enables unmatched linear regressive dimming capability for ballast-driven lighting applications. In addition to more reliable dimming capability, PureSpectrum’s dimmable CFL contains far fewer components than conventional dimmable CFLs, allowing the retail cost to be substantially lower than any dimmable CFL currently on the market.
The company has initiated an aggressive sales and marketing campaign directed at utility companies and will distribute product in the first quarter of 2009. All PureSpectrum CFL products are dimmable and will be compliant with established performance standards set forth by Energy Star, Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
The Energy Efficiency and Sustainability Symposium is a conference focusing on the efficacy of green programs and initiatives as well as the most recent green technologies, products and services being applied within the industrial and commercial sector. The symposium will feature presentations on topics such as corporate sustainability, green manufacturing, renewable energy, energy efficiency and green building practices. The event is designed to attract sustainability and green program managers, product developers and service managers seeking to enhance organizational green practices, operators of renewable and alternative energy systems or programs as well as facility, manufacturing and industrial operations managers.
