September 25, 2008 - PureSpectrum, Inc. launching production of proprietary linear fluorescent and dimmer product lines

September 26th, 2008

SAVANNAH, GAPureSpectrum, Inc. (Pink Sheets: PSPM) is continuing its aggressive growth strategy by launching the design and production of both dimmable linear fluorescent and lighting control product lines built with the company’s innovative circuitry.

Both the dimmable linear fluorescent lamps and dimming devices will be built and specified by EnerSave in New York, and PureSpectrum is currently negotiating with more than one manufacturer in

China to complete production. PureSpectrum has developed and introduced groundbreaking technology for energy efficient lighting during the past year, including cost-effective dimmable ballast circuitry for fluorescent lighting and designs for lighting controls that offer unprecedented dimming capability for artificial lighting. The company is currently in the patent pending stage for its dimmable ballast and two-wire dimmer designs.

Vanatta said the company’s success and profitability has always been tied to identifying opportunities to integrate PureSpectrum’s  innovative technology into commercially available products and the production process would allow the company more potential avenues for revenue generation that will increase shareholder value.

“We are continuing to accelerate the conversion of our technologies into product form so we can reach all potential markets and recognize all potential revenue streams available to us,” Vanatta said. “I am aware that there is concern among a segment of our shareholders that we have not yet finalized a revenue producing agreement, and I appreciate that position because I anticipated that an agreement would be in place at this time. While it may be taking longer than expected to take the next step on this journey, the past few months represent a tremendous amount of progress for this company in a short period of time and we are working diligently on a daily basis to ensure long term viability of our technology and protect the long term value of the company in the interest of our shareholders. Because we are thinking long term rather than short term, we are exercising appropriate caution when necessary and moving forward at a pace dictated by our engineering and legal teams.”

The decision to build branded dimmable linear fluorescent lamps and dimming devices comes a month after the company announced that it is committed to building a full family of dimmable Compact Fluorescent Lamp (CFL) product prototypes at the request of multiple prospective licensing partners and a week after the company announced an aggressive sales plan to market its dimmable, high Power Factor CFLs to utility companies.
